Installing the Add-In

Check Your Excel Version

Open Excel → File → Account → About Excel. Note whether you have the 64-bit or 32-bit version, then close Excel.

Download the Add-In

Go to downloads.creditbenchmark.com/login and sign in with your download credentials. Download the correct installer for your Excel version:
  • 64-bit Excel → x64 installer
  • 32-bit Excel → x86 installer
Contact support@creditbenchmark.com to obtain download credentials. These are separate from your platform login credentials.

Configure Proxy Settings (if required)

The add-in has two components — the Excel Add-in (runs CB formulae) and the COM Add-in (hosts the control panel and query builder). Both may need proxy configuration.The add-in attempts to detect the correct proxy automatically on startup. If this fails, configure the addin-settings.json file located at:
C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\CreditBenchmark\ExcelAddin\Settings
Add-in proxy settings:

Save the file and restart Excel.

Test the Add-In

Open Excel — you should see a Credit Benchmark tab in the ribbon. Click it, then click Show/Hide Task Pane. The login page should appear in the side panel. Sign in with your CB platform credentials.
