# MCP Server Privacy Policy

> What the Credit Benchmark MCP server collects, how it is used, who it is shared with, and how long it is kept.

This policy covers the Credit Benchmark MCP server at `https://mcp.creditbenchmark.com/mcp`. It supplements the [Credit Benchmark Privacy Policy](https://www.creditbenchmark.com/privacy-policy/), which applies to your Credit Benchmark account and explains your data protection rights.

## Data we collect

* **Account identity:** your Credit Benchmark username, confirmed when you sign in.
* **Tool requests:** the tools your AI assistant calls and the inputs it sends, such as company names, LEIs, and portfolio lists.
* **Technical data:** IP address, request times, and errors.

The MCP server does not receive your conversations, prompts, or files, only the tool requests your AI assistant sends. Your password is entered on the Credit Benchmark sign-in page and is never shared with the MCP server or your AI assistant.

## How we use it

To sign you in, apply your Credit Benchmark entitlements, return the data you request, and operate, secure, and improve the service. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

## Sharing

* **Service providers:** Amazon Web Services (hosting, Ireland) and Okta (sign-in), acting on our behalf. See the full [subprocessor list](https://compliance.creditbenchmark.com/subprocessors) in our Trust Center.
* **Your AI provider:** results are returned to the AI assistant you connected. Your provider's own privacy policy governs how it handles them.

## Retention

Request logs are kept only for as long as needed to operate, secure, and support the service, in line with the retention periods in the [Credit Benchmark Privacy Policy](https://www.creditbenchmark.com/privacy-policy/). Sign-in data and downloadable results are deleted automatically within minutes.

## Your choices and contact
